Cord Blood Can Help CP

The parents of a child who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as an infant researched cord blood as an option to help with the disability.

After being treated using cord blood they claim that their little boy is showing little signs of having cerebral palsy symptoms.

Stem Cells Used

As time progresses the parents say that their child is showing huge improvements since being infused with his own stem cells.

This process is reportedly made possible by preserving cord blood immediately after birth.

Clinical Trial Proves Beneficial

Dallas Hextell is reportedly one of few children who were treated using cord blood during a clinical trial.

Within five days of receiving the treatment, Dallas was reportedly reacting, waving and laughing, which is something that he had previously been unable to do.

“We think the transfusion has a big part to do with is because it was such a drastic change within five days of the procedure taking place,” explained Dallas’s father. “It had to be because he wasn’t reaching the milestones he is now. He was falling further and further behind.”
